Focus
Infrabuild has significant experience in successfully developing affordable best practice urban design and sustainable house and land packages in the affordable housing market. Infrabuild’s environmental credentials (in terms of water use and the utilization of sustainable materials) were demonstrated at the Manly Ecostyle – sustainable development. Our alternative modular building system offers in excess of the required 6 star energy rating due to the extensive use of plantation timbers and double glazed windows.
Our commitment to small lot product diversity, principles of universal access and product design innovation and capability are demonstrated at the Sugarwood Grove retirement village, Bellbowrie (www.sugarwood.com.au ). A further example is our ‘Spencer Mews’ development of 17 Affordable Houses on small lot land parcels at Redbank.
Master planned communities
Infrabuild has direct experience in the planning of Master Planned Communities through an associated business in a 38ha parcel of land at Ripley 4kms from the proposed town centre.
Our retirement villages are true, residential communities recognised for their variety of housing styles and urban design. They offer community centres and are constructed on one lot under a community management scheme (CMS) arrangement.
Innovation
Infrabuild will work closely and collaboratively with its clients to continuously innovate and refine small lot designs to improve product appeal and cost buildability and environmental sustainability.
Our Architects brief is to focus on creating designs that:
- Increase housing affordability through the use of our modular/composite building system
- Are tailored specifically to the building sites physical characteristics, location and aspect
- Provide innovations to ensure ongoing product and building system enhancements
- Are sensitive to environment and sustainability objectives
